So get your glad rags on, come on down and party on....
Can't believe I've finally made it - nine weeks and one day after John Inverdale mentioned my book on the radio, I have created a website, an online launch party and most importantly a book.
Thanks to all those of you who've supported me on my way and hi to all those runners I've met online in the last few weeks.
Keep on running....
I'll be in and out during the day, but from 4-9pm otherwise occupied by the physical launch party I'm having tonight. So if I'm not posting that's why. Feel free to chat amongst yourselves!

i am sitting here with my virtual glass of champagne, having walked up the virtual red carpet and had my photo taken by the virtual paparazzi!!!

Hi all, thanks for lovely comments. Am feeling fairly chilled, as have got books, booze and glasses to Ottakers. Don't laugh I had to borrow a Waitrose trolley and negotiate a slope out of the carpark. Had visions of it going tits up, and having red wine stained books. Luckily all was well!
Also just taken very aged mil out to lunch then had panic attack that she would trip over - as six years ago I took her and fil out for a lunch, while heavily pregnant, and they both tripped up and fil ended up in hospital with a broken hip.
Luckily all well there too.
Just off for the school run, back later...

and hope anyone whose tried to log in tonight not too frustrated as last time I looked blogger wasn't working.
Believe you me, you can't be as p****d off as me at the moment. We have had roadworks outside our house the last three nights and it's just started again... The drills started at 10.30. Aaaghh!!!!
However the launch party was great and I sold 40 books.
Will post pics over the weekend.

Thanks for a great party last night. It was a wrench to leave your lovely garden at 9pm, but alas! work and children called. I am joining you at lunchtime - just back from work - so can't raise more than a metaphorical glass.
